TableTop Supercars is a WA owned business offering a variety of realistic Aussie V8 Supercars™ motor racing scenarios using the latest Scalextric Sports Digital™ slot racing equipment.
Our race-tracks are highly portable and can easily be erected in most typical Boardroom, Training Room or Conference facilities.
Our equipment will allow for up to six cars to race simultaneously on a 2 lane track. The cars are controlled digitally, rather than by altering the voltage to the race-track. The cars are "addressed" to a particular controller position, allowing for any car to run on any lane, at any time, without loss of control by the driver.
Certain parts of the circuit allow drivers to change lanes by pressing a button on their hand-controller, to set up an overtaking manoeuvre, to block an opponent or to get a better line through a corner. This provides exciting racing as drivers strive to reach the next overtaking point and some some angst for the owners and drivers when two cars arrive at the same point, at the same time.
Track layouts all feature a fully operational pit lane, which drivers will need to use to refuel during a race.
When combined with our exclusive Interactive Race Management Software, we can reproduce all common racing formats, including:
• Free Practice Sessions (timed sessions or fixed laps)
• Qualifying Sessions (timed sessions or fixed laps)
• Fixed lap races (i.e regular grand prix race format)
• Endurance races (most laps completed in a set time)
• Pursuit racing
Data from each race, each competitor and each car is stored in our software's database, allowing us to conduct either single sessions, or multi-session series of races.
We are also able display a real-time leaderboard showing each driver's lap time, best time, position, number of laps and fuel level. This can be displayed on to a large screen monitor for spectators, as well as small screen monitors at the driving positions.
